Error message installing latest driver for Pod X3

While you can ignore it, and the installation will complete, Gearbox refuses to communicate with the X3. I guess it's a Snow Leopard compatibility issue.

Midi timeouts connecting to Vetta 2 with Line 6 Edit

Hi there,

I have the latest firmware (2.5) for the Vetta, latest version of Line 6 Edit (3.02), Java Runtime 1.5 installed and I'm connecting to my Vetta 2 combo with a M-audio midisport uno. When starting up Line 6 Edit the Vetta is recognized but about 25 seconds into the connection process (where the Line 6 Edit is downloading data) I get a midi timeout window stating that Line 6 Edit couldn't connect to the Vetta. The message suggests checking midi connections and cycling power on the amp. That doesn't work of course.

I've tried rolling back to firmware 2.11, removing and reinstalling Java, updating drivers for my Midisport Uno all to no avail. The same problem exists.

Line 6 Monkey sees the Vetta just fine. Is there something I'm missing? I'm also using Windows XP SP3.

GearBox Tablature Doesn't Zoom

I have exactly the same problem.. it used to work some months ago then stopped. I have since updated Java, adobe Flash and rechecked active content plus have IE8. But no change. This is a problem on ALL zoom tabs not just some. The ones that worked before do not now.

This has been raise in May this year and still has not been addressed. Very dissapointing :-(

I would say that May09 is when I noticed teh problem. What did you change in May ? or what updates came out that you program is no longer compatable with ?

I have exactly the same problem and it is on every song that has zoom on it no just "mississippi Queen" it use to work then just stopped. I have updated to latest Java and Flash Player and have active content enable but still no change.

Zoom is a very useful feature. shame it doesnt work.

What are the specs for the speaker outs on spider 4 150

I want to purchase a used line 6 quarter stack. I did not see any specs in my manual for the speaker outs on my spider 4 150. When you plug in, do your internal speakers mute? Can I run just one speaker out to an external cab or do I have to run both? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can't find any info on what happens when you run the speaker outs. Has anyone else had any experience running external cabs? Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS.

try stewart mcdonald they have a black pearloid. its 42 bucks for an 11 1/4 x 19 1/8 sheet there most expensive you could also try all parts or the luthier section of ebay

i sent my unit direct to L6 for the repair took little over a week....

would be worth it for me for the extras on the live unit...

whichever you decide i just wanted to throw this out there to make sure you get what you will ultimately be happy with.
