Flextone IIIXL with genz benz 2x12 cab?

Can I hook up a genz gflex 2x12 with either the 16 ohm or 4 ohms impedance safely to my Flextone III XL as an extra cabinet? I've never tried it because I don't know if it will damage the power amp.  Thanks!

You cannot connect external speakers with LESS THAN an 8-ohm impedance to the Flex.

So 16-ohms will work, 4 will BLOW your Flex amp.

 

The Flex amp must see a MINIMUM of 4-ohms (combined).

I modified my Flex 3XL to run a 212 cab in tandem without switching off the internals...It's not too hard...there is a PDF on the board some place...I have posted that a few times here...I just can't find it right now...
