Used Toneport Ux1 Required Software?

I will be recieveing a used toneport ux1 soon and would like to know what drivers and software should be installed first,here is a list of software programs i have downloaded:line 6 monkey ver.1.31,drivers ver.3.4.3.8,pod farm ver.1.11,riffworks 2 ver.2.22,gearbox ver.3.70,if there is any additional software i can download that will work with the toneport ux1 please let me know?thanks in advance.

gearbox has been superceeded by pod farm.

 

pod farm includes monkey and drivers, but they may be older versions of monkey and drivers.

 

riffworks isn't free, so you wont be able to use it unless you pay for it.  or you can download a free version called riffworks T4 from sonomawireworks.com

 

so, delete gearbox and riffworks. install pod farm, then if you need to install the latest monkey and drivers.

Thanks for the info,i did not install any of the programs yet, i just downloaded the software.

Line 6 miller,rowbi's answer was good but i was waiting for you or someone else from line 6 to answer my question,can you tell me in your opinion what line 6 software will work best with the toneport ux1?in a previous post you or someone else said to download gearbox 3.70,rowbi said pod farm was the better program to use also should i install the line 6 monkey and line 6 drivers first or gearbox or pod farm first?

Hello,

 

  POD Farm will work the best. It will install the latest drivers as well as the latest version of Line 6 Monkey for your device.

 

  It also offers dual tones which is a huge feature that Gearbox does not have.

just a few more questions,i have downloaded the line 6 version of riffworks and also the free riffworks t4 version,will either one of these riffworks programs work with pod farm?also how is your version of line 6 riffworks different from the free t4 version?

Either one of those versions of Riffworks will work with POD Farm. Here's a comparison chart between Riffworks Standard and T4.

  The Line 6 Edition is like standard except for 2 major differences; it only works with Line 6 devices and it does not support plug ins.

 

  If oyu want to use POD Farm as a plug in within RW then I'd suggest buying the Standard version instead of the Line 6 Edition.
