Question re: Tone Port to iLok transfer

I can't find a straight answer for this anywhere.

 

I have a Tone Port DI, which came with the GearBox Gold bundle. I got the free upgrade to Pod Farm (Platinum). I have other audio interfaces, so the Tone Port is just a big dongle, and I would much rather use my iLok for Pod Farm (which I use as a plugin, never standalone).

 

Exactly how much would it cost to transfer the PodFarm Platinum license to my iLok?

You can't transfer your license to an iLok. You'll have to buy a new iLok license for POD Farm Platinum -- which will cost you about $300.

Mimungr is correct.

 

  We gave the free upgrade to Pod Farm Platinum for users of the Toneport DI-Gold/Silver to use with that hardware, but if you want to use POD Farm with an iLok dongle, you will have to purchase that functionality:
