| Add-On Drummer Sessions
This InstantDrummer Session is for use with the GuitarPort RiffTracker for Windows setup. To use it, you'll need to:
-Have GuitarPort RiffTracker (GuitarPort 2.5 plus RiffWorks) installed and activated with a License Key on your computer.
-Purchase a License Key for this InstantDrummer Session from the Drum Store.
-Activate the License Key as described at www.line6.com/store/activate.html
-Download and run this installer
Once the above steps are completed, launch RiffWorks, select the InstantDrummer, and select your newly installed drummer from the Session menu!
Drivers
A Driver is software that you install on your computer to allow your Line 6 PODxt, Bass PODxt, TonePort or GuitarPort function as a USB Audio and MIDI interface. This allows Line 6 hardware to communicate with other audio and MIDI applications to exchange digital audio and/or MIDI data. This, for example, is what allows you to use your Line 6 device as an ASIO soundcard with your favorite audio recording program, or to use your PODxt or Bass PODxt with Line 6 Edit by connecting to your computer with only a USB cable. New Driver version updates are posted here periodically and can offer performance improvements and new features, so be sure to get the latest one for your Line 6 device!
Firmware Updater
This is software that you install on your computer which allows you to update the software that runs inside your Line 6 product (which is called "firmware"). Depending on your product, this could include USB Firmware and Flash Memory. This utility has the built-in ability to check online for, download and install the latest versions of your product's firmware.
Flash Memory
This is the actual code that runs inside the electronic "brain" of your Line 6 device (kind of the equivalent a computer's Operating System). If you've heard that there is an update available for your Line 6 product and you've come here to get it, this is probably what you're looking for. Flash Memory is where features are added and also where patch data or bugs are addressed. Depending on your computer’s Operating System version, you may need the Firmware Updater utility available at this site to load the Flash Memory into your Line 6 product.
GearBox
GearBox is the software application needed for Line 6 TonePort UX1 or UX2. The GearBox installer you download here includes the GearBox application, the TonePort driver, and Line 6 Monkey.
GuitarPort
For GuitarPort owners, this is the latest version of your application software. For PODxt’s, this gives you both the ultimate editor/librarian for your POD and the gateway to connect to the world of GuitarPort Online.

Line 6 Edit is the free Editor/Librarian software for use with the following Line 6 products:

Line 6 Edit is an easy-to-use software which allows you to see all the settings in every Tone patch, and allows you to edit and save them on your computer. You can also create complete back-ups of all the tones in your device and restore them from your computer. Line 6 Edit also interfaces with the Line 6 Custom Tone web site and Online Tone Library where you can share or download customized tones for your Line 6 device!
Line 6 Monkey
Line 6 Monkey is the free intelligent updater utility for Line 6 products. Download the latest version of Line 6 Monkey here and install it on your computer, then, with your Line 6 device connected to your computer, launch Line 6 Monkey. This will automatically check your Line 6 device and computer system and let you know about recommended updates. Monkey will also walk you through installing available updates, as well as optional Add-On products from the line 6 Store.
MD5 Checksum Utility
This is a Windows utility that allows you to check if the files you download from this site are downloading properly. You only need this if you are having trouble downloading or opening the software on this site.
Network Diagnostic Utility
This is a Windows utility that gathers network connectivity information about your system and saves it in a text file. You only need this if you are having problems with connecting to GuitarPort Online or updating your PODxt family member's USB firmware, since you can then provide the resulting text file to Line 6 Customer Support to aid them in diagnosing the problem.
RiffWorks
Riffworks is the complete, guitar-friendly Windows recording software from Sonoma Wire Works that can be used with Line 6 GuitarPort, PODxt, PODxt Live or PODxt Live. You can download either the Full CD Installer, or the Alternative Minimum Size Installer to get the “GuitarPort RiffTracker” setup on your Windows computer. This software will run in demo mode – you can purchase a License Key at www.line6.com/store to activate all features:

Riffworks 1.1 Updater Patch - This is a patch updater only - if you do not yet have RiffWorks 1.0 installed on your system, you must first use one of the above Riffworks installers.
Variax Workbench
Line 6 Variax Workbench is the editor/librarian software for Variax guitars. It provides easy visual editing & customization of all your Variax guitar parameters, patch backups, alternate tuning settings and more!
