John Browne

Monuments

BIOGRAPHY

Guitarist John Browne is a rare talent in today’s music world. Drawing inspiration from the musical styles of James Hetfield, John Petrucci, Meshuggah and Hendrix, Browne not only shreds—he adds some serious groove to his playing. Receiving his first electric guitar at 13 was a watershed moment that changed his view of music. After getting his start with the band Fellsilent in 2004, Browne formed the London-based group Monuments in 2007. Amongst the balancing act of global tours and composing music for his band and solo project Flux Conduct, John somehow finds time to stretch his creative horizons by designing guitars, writing a blog for Guitar World and co-producing albums.
